We hope you have all had a great summer and have managed to get plenty of tennis in. Overall, the teams have had a good year and we would like to thank all of the team players for performing so well and for showing their commitment and support for the club. The highlights have been winning the Chester U16 and U14 Leagues and Aegon U18 Boys Cheshire Division 2 League. We were also runners-up in the Wirral U10 League Division 1 and semi-finalists in the Boys U18 Monkhouse Shield Doubles Knockout Event. There have also been some outstanding individual performances in local LTA tournaments. Particular congratulations go to Katie Merrick who recently reached the semi-finals of the U10 Girls Cheshire County Championships where she narrowly lost 5-3 to the eventual winner. There were also some excellent performances in a number of local LTA tournament events by a number of our junior players including Richard Drummond, Saleem Rizvi, Jamal Rizvi, and Richard Speed. It was also great to see seven of our junior players from Hoole competing in the Cheshire County Championships.
